The Community Pledge
I stand with people living with HIV.
I will challenge stigma, discrimination, and misinformation with compassion and facts.
I oppose unjust HIV criminalization and support laws grounded in science, human rights, and dignity for all people living with HIV.
I will respect each person’s privacy and their right to share their HIV status on their own terms.
I will share the science of U=U: people on treatment who maintain an undetectable viral load cannot transmit HIV through sex.
I believe everyone deserves access to HIV prevention—including testing, PrEP, and PEP—as well as care, treatment, and support, regardless of income, insurance, or ZIP code.
I stand with people newly diagnosed and long-term survivors, and I honor those we have lost.
I will listen to people living with HIV and support their leadership in decisions that affect their lives.
I support research toward a safe, effective cure that everyone can access.
