Welcome. I’m Kevin Maloney, founder of RiseUpToHIV. This site grew from my experience living with HIV, my professional and volunteer work, and the people I’ve connected with along the way. Now I’m inviting you to help shape its next chapter.
During the October 1–31 Community Preview, explore the education, personal stories, community spaces, and practical resources. Try the Florida Care Locator. Tell me what helps, what’s missing, and what could work better. You can also read my story and why I built RiseUpToHIV.
From community feedback to V2
- October 1–31Explore & shareCommunity Preview: try the site and send constructive feedback.
- NovemberReview & improveI’ll review your ideas, set priorities, and build the next round of improvements.
- December 1RiseUpToHIV V2The next version launches with improvements shaped by community feedback.
Corrections come first
Care-related errors won’t wait for V2.
Wrong clinic details, broken care links, or information that could affect someone’s care, safety, or access receive priority attention. I’ll make verified corrections as quickly as possible, with a goal of updating them within 24 hours of a report. If a correction needs more verification, I’ll flag or remove the affected information while I check it.
Report a care-related correction →Other proposed changes—such as new features, design refinements, and broader content additions—will be reviewed during November and held for the December 1 V2 release. Every constructive suggestion will inform that review, though not every request can be included.
To help me act, include the page link, what needs attention, and a reliable source or corrected detail if you have one. For care-related concerns, select “Care-related correction (priority)” in the form or begin your email with “Care correction.” Please avoid including private medical details.
What would make this more useful to you?
Whether you’re living with HIV, supporting someone who is, working in care, or here to learn, your perspective matters. Share the questions you want answered, voices you’d like to see represented, resources you recommend, and anything that makes the site difficult to use. Clear, specific feedback will help me focus on changes that serve the community.
I’ll share a summary of the feedback and priorities in November, followed by what changed with the V2 release. Contributors won’t be identified without permission.
Accuracy, clarity, and care
RiseUpToHIV brings together lasting stories and history with information that needs regular review, including care listings, research, and policy. For care searches, contact the organization before traveling to confirm services, eligibility, costs, and appointment availability.
AI tools helped me research, write, and build this site. Its direction comes from my lived, professional, and volunteer experience, and I remain responsible for reviewing the work and correcting errors. Read the AI and editorial disclosure or my perspective on responsible AI use.
A thank-you for helping us grow

Tell us what’s helpful, what could be clearer, and what you’d like to see next. Your perspective helps this community grow.
After November 1, 2026, we’ll review the October feedback and offer a complimentary awareness T-shirt to up to 20 contributors whose suggestions we select for site improvements.
Send your feedback by October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. We plan to contact selected contributors during the first week of November to confirm their size and shipping details.
We’re aiming for delivery in mid-to-late November, ahead of World AIDS Day on December 1. This is a target, subject to printing and shipping schedules.
No donation, public review, or personal story required. One shirt per selected contributor. Sending feedback does not guarantee a shirt; selection is based on suggestions we choose to use, not praise or submission order. Your feedback and contact details stay private.
Share your feedback →The October 2026 T-shirt feedback offer has closed. Thank you for helping shape RiseUpToHIV. You can still share feedback at any time.

Thank you for being part of this.
